Diego Rayas is a senior aerospace engineering student from Minnesota. This is his third year on the Notre Dame Rocketry Team and is the vehicle squad lead for this year's competition. He is passionate about rocketry and wants to work in the space industry in the future. Diego graduated from Officer Candidate School last summer and will commission in the United States Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant after his senior year. He will be a Student Naval Aviator and hopes to fly F/A-18s or F-35s.

Madeline Oelerich is a senior studying aerospace engineering. This is her second year on the Notre Dame Rocketry Team and she is eager to serve as the Educational Outreach Lead this year. Ever since her trip to Space Camp in Huntsville, AL in seventh grade, she fell in love with space and dreamt of a career in the space industry. She enjoys tea, running, and Chicago sports teams especially the Blackhawks and Cubs.

Pat Rick Ntwari is a senior studying Aerospace Engineering and French. This is his first year on the Notre Dame Rocket Team, which he joined to get experience on the astronautical side of the aerospace industry. He is happy to see what this team has accomplished and is excited to see how the team does in Huntsville. Thanks to his dual-degree program, he will be with the team next year and is eager to build upon this years’ experience. In his free time, Patrick enjoys learning languages, reading books and history, as well as ethnic and cultural activities. LOCATION

Eliza Almeida is a Junior Aerospace Engineering major. She is a member of the Vehicle Squad and the Safety Committee. This is her first year on the Notre Dame Rocketry Team. Eliza believes that with the further development of the space program, we can gain invaluable information that will better our future. In her life at Notre Dame she is involved with the Hispanic Community and is the President of Coro Primavera, the only Spanish Choir on Campus. She also works as an Engineering Cluster Consultant in the College of Engineering’s computer cluster helping students with their IT needs.

Nathaniel Hanson is a freshman Aerospace Engineering Major from San Antonio, Texas. He currently works with the vehicle squad and uses RockSim and OpenRocket to design and simulate launches of the full scales vehicle. Ever since he spent a week at Johnson Space Center taking an engineering course, he discovered his passion for high-powered rocketry. Nathaniel is also cadet in Air Force ROTC Detachment 225 and plans on pursuing a career in the military upon graduation as a pilot or developmental engineer.

Maddie Hetlage is a sophomore aerospace engineering major from St. Louis, Missouri. This is her first year on the Notre Dame Rocketry Team, and she is excited to contribute to the team and to learn more about rocketry. After graduation, Maddie hopes to work in the space industry, hopefully in the design of space structures and space launch vehicles. Outside of rocketry, she is involved in hall council for her dorm, SWE, ND Right to Life, and Campus Ministry. She also enjoys running, hiking, and cooking. LOCATION
