Collette Gillaspie

Aerospace Engineering, Junior

Collette Gillaspie is a junior aerospace engineering major who dreams of life on the International Space Station. For her third year on the Notre Dame Rocketry Team, Collette will be fully embracing her rocket nerdism as a payload lead. Collette‘s space fanaticism stems from her days of glow-in-the-dark ceiling stars and Solar System placemats. A true Nebraskan, Collette enjoys the finer things in life, like husking corn, but she mostly enjoys writing, stargazing with the Omaha Astronomical Society, traveling, and driving the Millennium Falcon, her very own 2001 Honda driving hunk of junk.
